Tattersfield Full Race heads are perfect for the competition Flathead builder. Designed by Tommy Thickstun, this chamber design is best suited for the advanced performance and blown engine builder. This is the standard race head that features the 3/16 dome. Transfer area is .430inch. The Valve Pocket is .500-.550 for 460-500 cam lift. The intake area enlarged for 1.750-1.850 inch intake valves.
Price doesn’t include water necks. One of the images in the gallery shows a side cut of the head. Illustrating how these heads have an enlarged coolant chamber that can hold a gallon of coolant and thus offer better cooling performance. Best of all unlike other heads with one outlet, Tatterfield-Baron heads have three outlets positioned right above the exhaust valves. Offering consistent cooling in the hottest areas of the head under the highest performance applications. Exclusive to the Tatterfield-Baron design these heads offer a deck thickness that is over one inch thick. The combustion chambers are all C&C machined to provide the exact specifications that made this brand what it is. Unshrouding over the intake valves provides better performance.
